Relojes de Segunda Mano

      Relojes de segunda mano, de ocasión, relojes re-usados o de segundo uso...Eso es con el tipo de reloj que nosotros trabajamos, y no es por el tema de la dichosa crisis, ya hacia 30 años que mi padre se dedicaba a ello, y eso fue lo que me dejo en herencia, un maravilloso mundo que me encanta y que desde luego tiene muchos mas seguidores de lo que os podeis imaginar.


Second-hand watches, sales watches, already worn watches…  Those are the type of watches we work with. And it is not because of the well-known economic crisis. 30 years ago my father already worked with this segment, and that is what he left me as a legacy, this wonderful World which I love and which has many more followers than you can imagine.

Hace unos años parecía que este mundillo solo les iba a los hombres, pero desde hace ya un tiempo os puedo asegurar que mis mejores clientes son mujeres, ya que el reloj es un complemento mas y sobre todo una buena inversión.

 Some years ago it seemed this was only for men, but lately I can confirm that the best customers are women, as the wristwatch is now another accessory and above all, it is a good investment.

Escribiré mas Post de relojes de segundamano mas adelante, esto ha sido una pequeña introducción! Espero que os haya gustado ;)

Estrellas de mar

Pues resulta que las bonitas estrellas de mar no tienen ni sangre ni cerebro,que son parientes de los erizos y que poseen brillantes colores para asustar a sus atacantes!!!
Pues vaya!!! Sea como sea son una pasada…con esos colores tan vivos y ellas siempre ahí, en el fondo tan tranquilitas! Jejeje

It looks like the beautiful starfish have no blood or brains, and that they have brilliant colors to frighten their enemies and that they belong to the same family as the sea urchin!! Good to know! Anyway they always look good, with their bright colors and looking so calm…

Me parece de lo más veraniego y elegante lucir joyas que nos recuerden a este animal!
 It is very summer-like to wear jewelry with starfish shapes!!

Brazaletes, pendientes,anillos o colgantes… piezas que marcan estilo tanto como para una cena  formal como para irte a una terraza a tomarte un gin tonic con unos buenos vaqueros!!

Anillo significa compromiso¿?

Antes de empezar con el Post de hoy me gustaría hacer una mención especial para todos los familiares y amigos de las victimas sucedidas ayer en el trágico accidente de tren en Santiago.
Toda solidaridad es poca para Galicia.

             Una de las cosas buenas que tiene nuestra joyería es ,que eres de las primeras personas en enterarte si le van a pedir la mano a una amiga ,  te entra una alegría en el cuerpo que no se puede aguantar! Pero justo en ese momento llega la cosa mala … (nota mental) – No se lo puedo decir a nadie!!! Y tengo que estar 1 semana o 2 semanas o 1 mes esperando que sea el día de la pedida y entonces decir… - yo lo sabía!!! (y por fin te quedas a gusto Jejeje)

One of the best things of owning our Jewelry is that I am one of the first ones to know about the next engagement of each of my friends!! Happiness comes into my body and I can’t do anything about it!! But just in that moment the bad side appears; I cannot tell anyone! 1 week, 2 weeks, 1month... waiting for THE DAY! It is then when I can confess “ I already knew” and I can finally relax.

  

Os enseño algunos de los  anillos de pedida que solemos hacer aquí en Joyería Weyler , normalmente nos piden que sean solitarios ( diamante en centro o alguna otra piedra preciosa como este zafiro) 

Here you have some of the engagement rings we usually create here in Joyeria Weyler. Most of the times we are asked for Solitaires (a diamond in the middle)…

Pero no es la única pieza de pedida que podemos regalar (quizá este post le interese a algún chico ;P)  Hay otras opciones, pulseras de diamantes tipo rivier o unos pendientes bonitos, eso depende de lo que le guste a la persona que se le regale. De todos modos aquí estamos el “ Weyler´s Team” para echar una mano!

But these aren’t the only type of engagement presents we make (this might be interesting for the male gender as well ;) There are other options such as diamond bracelets or a stunning pair of earrings. It always depends on what the girl likes. Anyway, the Weyler Team is here to give advice and help in the final decision!!

A mi me hizo mucha ilusión recibir un anillo, sobre todo porque no me lo esperaba!!! pero ya se sabe que “para gustos, los colores” Además, es  un momento taaaan bonito que hasta con un “Donut” estaríamos contentas.

I myself was also surprised with a beautiful Solitaire some time ago. I didn’t expect it at all! Anyway, it is such a special moment that I think we would be happy with anything, even a cobble stone!!

Love is in the brooch

La verdad es que la primera vez que lo vi ya me enamore  , un broche estilo art deco de diamantes y oro blanco… y además DOBLE!!!

The truth is that I fell in love with it the first time I saw it… An art deco – style brooch made of diamonds and white gold… and even more; a double jewel that can be divided in two!

 Una pieza que me recordaba a las joyas de las casas reales, en alguna ocasión había visto a Máxima de Holanda con algún broche así.

La pena era no tener un evento de tal envergadura para poder portar un broche de ese calibre…. Pero ahora, resulta que la moda da la oportunidad ( a las que puedan) de llevarlo hasta con vaqueros ¡!!  

It is indeed a piece of jewelry that reminds me of the ones worn by the Royals such as Queen Maxima of Holland.
It was a pity, though, not to have a big occasion to show it off.. But, it turns out that now the fashion trends allow us to wear it even with a pair of jeans!!!

La guapísima Olivia Palermo , icono de moda del momento, no duda en ponérselo para cualquier ocasión. También hay que decir que esta chica tiene unas joyas impresionantes en su armario , nosotras sino tenemos esa suerte hay broches en plata o de bisutería muy monos y sobre todo asequibles.

This is the place!

Pensé que no estaría mal empezar este nuevo proyecto enseñando "la base" de el porque nos gustan tanto las joyas.
 La verdad es que no es difícil en un entorno así... antigua cochera mallorquina  reformada , de techos altísimos con vigas de madera, paredes de mares y suelos de piedra, en pleno centro de la maravillosa ciudad de Palma de Mallorca ( que voy a decir yo, que soy mallorquina)



I thought it would be a good idea to start this new project showing the reason of why we love jewelry so much!!
It isn’t difficult to do so in such a beautiful scenario... Originally the garage of a mallorcan family house, with very high ceilings and wooden beams, walls and floor made of stone, sitting in the exact center of the charming city of Palma de Mallorca (what else could I say, as I was born in Mallorca).

Y de eso va a ir nuestro blog, de la joyería, de las joyas, de nuestros clientes, de los "must have" de la temporada y de esta maravillosa isla.
Espero que disfrutéis porque nuestras joyas están impacientesssss!!


So this is what our blog is going to be about: jewelry, jewels, our customers, all the must-haves of the season, and of course, this marvelous island.
