Juntos pero no revueltos

Hablemos del "TUTTI FRUTTI", hablemos de mezclar colores , está muy de moda , algo que antes era prácticamente impensable , aunque ahora no tanto, ya que antes de 1936 la gran firma Cartier ya empezó a mezclarlos en joyas …

haciendo que se unieran multitud de colores en maravillosas piezas …

Esmeraldas , zafiros, rubies y diamantes juntos por primera vez y tallados en forma de hoja...

 Let’s talk about the TUTTI FRUTTI, let’s talk about mixing colours. It is very popular now, but long ago nobody could have thought about it, Before 1936 the great brand Cartier already started mixing them in jewels.. producing beautiful pieces… emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and diamonds all together for the first time, and cut in a leaf shape..

Como amante de la alta joyería mi opinión es maravillosa , piezas totalmente trabajadas , piedras preciosas elegidas con mimo para que el resultado sea lo que se ve ... exquisito.

Pero también debo ser sincera ,el trabajo me parece increíble, pero no son de mis piezas favoritas, el "tutti frutti" nunca me ha acabado de gustar , HASTA AHORA! 

de repente firmas como Bulgari me hacen cambiar de opinión!

As a high-jewelry lover, I can only admire these pieces, very-crafted, with well-chosen precious stones, that make this refined and exquisite result. Sincerely, there’s a lot of work here, but they are not my favorite pieces. The “tutti fruti” has never been my first choice.. till now!!! Suddenly brands such as Bulgari make me change my mind!

Este fin de semana, aprovechando el puente , se celebra la COPA DEL REY de doma clásica en Barcelona, en la hípica de CAN ALZINA BARCELONA-HORSES. Así que nosotros no nos la vamos a perder , fin de semana disfrutando de grandes jinetes , de buen ambiente y buena comida! que más se puede pedir???  Así que ya contaré en el próximo post!

As you know, in Joyeria Weyler we have second-hand high-range watches. But we also have some jewelry; we buy used jewels and objects of our favorite brands, and we re-sell them. Most of our clients love this! You can own things from the brand you love at a much more affordable price!!
One of the most-demanded brands (many people come and ask directly for it) is BULGARI. Every piece in our window display lasts too much there…

    Los gemelos es un clásico para hombre , pero vamos, que yo estoy deseando encontrar una camisa con ojales en los puños de mujer para ponerme unos!!!
   Otra marca que nos gusta mucho ... CARTIER ! siempre hemos tenido joyas de esta gran firma , pero os enseño objetos.

Cufflinks are a classic for men, but I am trying to find a blouse with buttonholes to wear them!!!
Another brand which we like a lot is.. CARTIER! We have always had jewels from this brand, but in this case I am going to show you objects.

        Y como son las gafas ??? jajajaj lo más! me chiflan , lo que yo de momento no las necesito! También tenemos entre otras cosas,este colgante Horóscopo Cartier , en oro de 18qts y con un brillantito que se coloca en el signo.

And how do you like these glasses??? I adore them! But I still don’t need them!! We have more things, such as this Cartier Horoscope, in 18carat gold and with a diamond which you place in your star sign.

  Iré haciendo algún post sobre cositas que tenemos de Firma , y de otras de las que hoy no he hablado.

Christmas memories!

             Es Octubre y en Palma de Mallorca estamos a casi 30 grados!!! A pesar de este clima tan raruno yo me he levantado pensando en la Navidad, jejje, se que aún nos falta un poco , pero  es una de mis épocas del año favoritas ya que aprovecho para ver a mi familia que no puedo ver durante el resto del año y me encanta cuando nos juntamos!!!
             Asi que hoy he pensado en enseñaros  la fiesta de Navidad que hicimos el año pasado en Joyería Weyler … la titulamos …

 October, 30º Celsius in Palma!! Despite of this strange weather, I have woken up thinking about Christmas. Still two months to go, but it is my favorite time of the year because all of my family gets together. We don’t see each other as much as we’d want, so it is great when X-Mas arrives.
This post is about last year’s Christmas Party in Joyeria Weyler.. we named it:
Christmas Night Party Cava+Gin Suau+Nice things!!

Fue a primeros de Diciembre e inauguramos la decoración navideña! Elegimos todo en color rojo y verde que es lo clásico , aunque algún otro año elegimos el morado, dorado...y a Papa Noel y los reyes magos los vamos alternando en la vitrina. En esa ocasión toco papa Noel!

 The classical colors red and green. Other years we have cosen purple and gold… And every year we alternate Santa Clause with the Three Kings. Last year it was Santa Claus!! It took place in early December and we lit up the X-Mas decorations. We chose everything in and a great barman. We will do it again this year!

Aderezamos la noche con unos buenos gintonics. Gin Suau , trajo una maravillosa barra, un cocktelero y estuvo genial! seguro que este año repetimos!
Esa noche gran cantidad de clientes y amigos estuvieron con nosotros disfrutando del cava, del gin Suau y de las cosas bonitas que todo el equipo preparamos en los escaparates con mucha ilusión para esa noche.

 That night we received a great number of clients and friends, who We cheered up the evening with exquisite Gin&Tonics. Gin Suau brought a beautiful counter enjoyed the cava, the gin&tonics, and the nice things all of our team had prepared with a lot of excitement. It makes you feel really good when you prepare something with so much care and people respond!! We put lots of effort in the event and everyone seemed to be having a very good time!

Es una gran satisfacción cuando tienes ilusión en algo y la gente responde , preparamos el evento con muchas ganas y todo el mundo pareció pasarlo muy bien!

Tocado y "hundida"

        Lo que me gusta a mi un tocado no es ni medio normal, tanto es así, que el día de mi boda exprese este sentimiento a todas las invitadas, y a mis amigas directamente las obligue a llevar uno!

Y para una boda de día (como fue la mía) es el complemento perfecto y puedes conseguir un look tremendamente chic!! Pero... chicas morenas del mundo!!! a nosotras no nos va un tocado oscuro, que luego casi no se ve y ya no tiene gracia! Sino mirar a esta morenaza, Patricia Medina, espectacular!

 I absolutely love head-dresses!! Why? I have no idea, but you can ask my friends, I made every woman at my Wedding wear something on their heads!

For Weddings that take place in the morning (in Spain it is usual to hold Wedding Parties at night) it is the perfect accessory and you will finish your look with a chic touch!! But, for brunettes all over the world, let’s not wear dark head-dresses as they don’t show off that much. If you don’t believe me look at this dark-haired girl, Patricia Medina, spectacular!!

Y luego esta este otro, que bueno… a mi parecer un poco muy grande ,pero ya se sabe que para gustos…

 And then we have these huge ones… a bit too much for me I admit.

Y el último grito, las coronas de flores.
Blanca Suárez con un estilismo muy atrevido, opto por una de estas maravillosas coronas de flores multicolor. Me encanta!!

 And the dernière crit, the flower crowns. Blanca Suárez, with a very daring outfit, wears one of these fabulous crowns made of flowers in many colors. It’s wonderful!!

Y para las que seáis mas creativas podéis adornaros el pelo con algún collar o pulsera que ya tengáis! Queda muuy chulo!

 Y para ir terminando, el gran diseñador Irlandes , Philip Treacy , casi todos sus tocados me encantan, aunque no siempre todos. Considerados como obras de arte y que nunca pasan desapercibidos, son los más elegidos por las celebrities.

 To finish, the great Irish hat designer, Philip Treacy. I like almost all of his collection. His hats are considered a work of art and they are never unnoticed; they are the most worn by celebrities.

  En España aun no esta muy desarrollada la cultura del “sombrero”, así que hay que animarse ya que lo que nos sobra aquí es salero y gracia para llevarlos!

Yo me declaro totalmente Tocada y Hundida por ellos! ;)

 In Spain (at least where we live), the hat culture is still not quite developed. We for sure have charm to wear them so I would like to encourage everyone to try one!!

I declare myself totally “Hat” and Sunken by them!! ;)
