Hoy mi gran amiga Sara me ha pedido colaboración en su maravilloso blog que acaba de empezar con muchas ganas e ilusión. Tiene junto a su familia una maravillosa Joyería en uno de los sitios mas bonitos de Palma de Mallorca, le encanta su profesión y se nota, lleva viviéndolo desde que nació y la dedicación y fuerza que han dedicado sus padres al negocio toda la vida lo a mamando con creces…
Volviendo al tema blog, me ha ofrecido el gran honor de poder hacer alguna entrada, la haré con mucha ilusión, soy nueva en esto, pero se hará lo mejor posible.
Por cosas de trabajo y la dichosa crisis que nos invade a todos, me he visto en la tesitura de irme a vivir a Vietnam, si si, Vietnam, aquí al lado… muy exótico…
Llevo 3 años y 3 meses y podría decir que empiezo a enterarme un poco de que va el país y sus gentes. De eso y de mis vivencias os quería hablar en mis entradas.
Esperando que a alguien le pueda interesar esta entrada viajera no me enrollo más y al lío!

Due to my job and the well known economic crisis, I have been forced to live abroad, in Vietnam. Yes, Vietnam!! I am already here for 3 years and 3 months, and I am starting to feel what the country and its people are like..
Estarás cansado/a de ver fotos de China, Tailandia, Japón, Singapur… pero ¿Cuántas veces has visto alguna de Vietnam? ¿Qué conoces de este país aparte de que hubo una gran guerra hace más de 30 años? Puede que no lo suficiente, y la explicación es muy fácil. En contraste con el resto de países de Asia, Vietnam se ha mantenido alejado del turismo durante muchos años y en cierta forma todavía permanece como un país exótico y misterioso. Eso es algo que esta cambiando a marchas forzadas, poco a poco se está convirtiendo en uno de los destinos mas solicitados de toda Asia. Estos años de marginación tiene sus cosas buenas y malas, pero es lo que le da a este país su signo de identificación.
You might have seen lots of pictures from China, Thailand, Japan, Singapur… but, have you seen many from Vietnam? What do you know about this country, apart from that great war that happened more than 30 years ago? Probable not enough. And the reason is very easy. Unlike other countries in Asia, Vietnam has kept away from tourism for many years, and because of that, it still remains as a misterious and exotic country. That is something that is changing really quickly. Little by little it is appearing as one of the most demanded destinations in Asia. These years of isolation have good and bad things, but they have given this country its soul.
Vietnam alcanza ya los 91 millones de habitantes, por lo que se pone en el puesto número 13 de los países más poblados del mundo.
Existen dos grandes núcleos urbanos: Hanói, la capital del país y centro político y cultural, y Ho Chi Minh City ( la antigua Saigón), la ciudad más poblada y centro económico y financiero.
Vietnam has a growing population of already 91 million! It is ranked 13 in the list of most populated countries in the World. There are two big urban centres: Hanoi is the capital city, and the political and cultural center of the country. Ho Chi Minh City (old Saigon) is the most populated city and the economic and financial center.
Ahi es donde vivo yo, en 3 años he podido comprobar lo rápido que cambia y crece esta ciudad. Ronda los 8 millones de habitantes y circulan unas 6 millones de motocicletas por sus calles, una locura, pero sin ella no haces nada.
Es una ciudad dinámica, que está en constante cambio y que no duerme JAMÁS! NYC no es nadie al lado de nuestra Ho Chi Minh.
That is where I live. I have been able to see how quickly this city changes and grows. 8 million people live here and there are around 6 million motorbikes in its streets. It is crazy! The scooter is an absolute must-have here. It is a dinamic city which is changing all the time and it NEVER EVER sleeps. NYC is nothing compared to our Ho Chi Minh.
Hoy os enseño como es esta ciudad a simple vista, la ciudad y sus gentes, espero que disfrutéis, hasta la próxima.
